Campania
| Campania is a region that sits above Basilicata and cradles the Bay of Naples and the larger Gulf of Salerno. For visitors this is an area of great interest with so many sights and treasures to see. Napoli, the main port and capitol of Campania, sits beneath Mount Vesuvius as does the ancient town of Pompeii, buried under some twenty three feet of ash when Vesuvius erupted in AD 79. |
